Sustain while noodling
When I am "noodling" around trying to figure out harmonies, regardless of what instrument I have selected in the score, I can only hear one note at a time. It's like the synthesizer is set to "lead". The notes don't even sustain, they just play a brief quarter note.
I have tried different scores templates as well as building my own.
The Soundfont is installed correctly, and I've tried a couple of them.
I am wondering if I am missing something in the settings.
It's not the controller, because it works fine with Sib, Reason, Logic, and Ableton.
My config:
Mac Pro 3.33 GHz 6-Core
6 GB
OS 10.3
Arturia 61 Key Analog Experience MIDI keyboard controller
I'm really enjoying Musescore, wonderful program!
Thanks,
Jeff

I think MuseScore does indeed playback only one note at a time while entering notes. I suppose the workaround is to do your noodling using a another program to handle the audio output.

And not real convenient. Something to look in to for the future, I think. I know that the way I work, I want to be able to figure it out and then play it in. I don't want to have to flip back and forth between programs. I haven't experienced this with the other 3 notation programs I've used. Well, cool. Always something to do, isn't there? :-)

Or maybe use the keyboard's internal sounds?
