[Bug] Slight delay when looping playback of sections
Hello,
When I play my score using the playback loop function, there is often a very small delay, as if Musescore is slightly hesitant to start, when the loop begins again. I am using Musescore 2.1 on LInuxmint 18.1 XFCE 64bit. Setting the cpu governor speed to performance doesn't fix the problem. Is there an audio buffer that I can increase to remedy this issue? I have attached an example score in case someone wants to test out this bug report. Simply hightlight the two measures, the first one includes a repeat, select the loop option and hit play.
Thanks,
Sam

The slight delay doesn't occur in a rendered sound file. It occurs when the score is being looped 'live' continuously through Musescore. And it doesn't happen all the time. In then next day or two, I'll make a live video screen capture of musescore in action, so you can hear and see what I am referring to.
Thanks,
Sam

False alarm?
After restoring my OS to a previous state, removing some recent apps I had installed, Musescore's loop delay seems to have resolved. Some of these apps had many on-going background processes and/or were using more memory than I was aware of (e.g., Evolution, Nylas email client, etc.). Perhaps, these resource-intensive apps were interfering with Musescore's live looping processing? Since the several un-installs, I am also noticing that my system is more responsive in general, although it could just be a placebo effect.
I'll let you know if the looping delay returns.
Thanks, Sam
