ad libitum
Hello,
I would like to know if there is any way I can use "ad libitum" in my score.
I have the version 1.2 and I run it on Mac OS.
Thanks in advance

Just add it where ever you want using text. MuseScore CANNOT interpret this and act on it in a MDI or audio file.
Hi Enaira_21
The latest version is 1.3, if you're able to install that.

for reading, you can use "Repeat count" for playback:

but only on the last measure before an end repeat bar...
You can write it as normal notes, then click on the note, open the inspector (view→inspector, or [F9]), and click the tick for visible. This will make the note head disappear. All you need to do then is attach staff text saying, "ad lib.", and make the text italic. The notes will appear grey, and continued to be played, however will not be visible when exported.
