Selection error: selects too much
In the score attached click on bar 38 the high e and then on bar 39 the last b. It also selects the first four notes in bar 40. Tested on XP version 1.3 and OS X Mountain Lion version 1.2.
Also tested in 2.0 by Marc Sabatella who suggested that it might have to do with the 'holes' I created by deleting rests in some voices.

Forgot to add the score, so here it is.
the current latest nightly, 83197be even crashes (o0n WinXP SP3) when opening this score -> critical
I have my doubts though about the possible reasons Marc mentioned, as the problem (in 1.3 at least) remains even after having reinstaled these reststs (by swapping voices back and forth)
Crash is the same than #21622: Score with slurs and voltas created in 1.3 causes crash. Let's not mix things.
I believe Marc is right. The selection problem is caused by the missing rest on beat 1 voice 2 in measure 40. Swap voice 1-2 twice in this measure, and the bug is gone.
Confirmed regarding the missing rests. I had only tried the voice swap trick in measures 38 & 39, and that didn't fix it, but including measure 40 does. Still doesn't crash for me though :-). My 2.0 build is based on a master from 6/19.
I'm pretty sure I did swap voice 1 and 2 twice in these 3 measures
I've just tried again: indeed this fixes the problem, so not sure what I tested before...
It does not crash. As Marc suggested, I now hide unwanted rests rather than delete them.
If deleting rests can cause crashes I suggest that you can only hide them. This seems to have been debated, but is there a reason not to?
Well, either deleting resis will be supported or not. If not, it will presumably be disallowed. But if supported, then any bugs would presumably be fixed. However, I apparently any crashes here are due to other causes.
Cannot reproduce in 2.0.2 and nightly a6ec8aa. Presumably, this has been fixed?
