Exporting Garageband project to MuseScore?
I worked on a Garageband project on my iPad and I currently have it opened on my mac in Garageband. I want to be able to edit it more on MuseScore, like adding more instruments and harmony, but I can't figure out how to export it to musescore, in the form of MIDI or another compatible file.
Is there any way to get it from garageband to musescore?

GarageBand is touted as a 'recording studio' application. It has over 100 instruments and can record multiple tracks simultaneously, or individually. It exports CD quality sound files (AIFF, AAC or MP3).
Can't you just add more instruments / harmony tracks from within GarageBand?
Musescore is primarily a music notation program. It primary focus is to create printable scores. File formats for import / export are found here: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/file-format.
Best practice would be to compose in Musescore, then grab your axe, or keyboard, choose your effects, loops, etc. in GarageBand, and 'shred it' . ;-)

Thanks for the reply, I was wanting to edit on musescore because I am more familiar with it, but I could easily figure out how to notate virtual instruments on garageband for the mac. Thanks again for your reply. :)

With musescore, you can easily change anywhere the time signature, the key signature, the tempo, etc.
With GarageBand, in 2018, this is much more difficult (when possible...).
