Automatic alternate rhythmic subdivisions of notes
Ok, so I have a passage of music where I want to see an alternate rhythmic subdivisions of the notes. Is there a way to automatically do that? Thanks.

Uh, kinda. Actually I'm a little confused with that and I need to study further on additive meters. Anyway, I have a few bars of music notated for oboe. But I want to "spell" it differently than how it is notated. Making the notes fall more on the beat or closer to it by changing the value of notes but everything is still technically the same, just notated differently. Attached score below, it seems a bit messy, what is a better way to notate this? Is there a button which will show me an alternative? That would be cool. Thanks.

If you are trying to make, for example, the 16th note tied to the 8th into a dotted 8th then, no. If you wanted to go the other way then the Layout->regroup rhythms would have done that for you. This notation in my opinion is actually the best for the time signature since it show where down beats fall. A skilled musician would have little difficulty with the notes spelled the other way though.
