Change octave shortcut conflict on OS X

Hi, when I try Cmd + Up/Down Arrow to change the octave of a note, there is a conflict with OS X because this is already defined to jump between virtual desktops. I tried to change the key assignment in OS X, it doesn't seem to allow it. Anyone having the same issue? Thanks

OS may not let you change it's shortcuts, but MuseScore will. Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts, most commands can be assigned whatever shortcut you like.
