8va and Led. Playbacks Only Apply to One Measure

I was composing a piano part that I've been playing for years but never written down, when I noticed that the octava playback only applies to one measure, regardless of where you end the line. I found the same problem with the sustain pedal playback. I would very much like to know if there is a way to fix this or if everyone else has the same problem. Any help would be very much appreciated! :)
