Crash when changing measure duration
Hi,
Trying out the application - seems nice enough and feature-filled for my needs.
I just encountered a bug however: when I try to change the measure duration for the initial measure (right-click measure > measure properties... > Measure duration/Actual and lower the value, the application will crash.
I have not found a perfect pattern for when it will crash. I attach the file that I worked on for tests (try lowering the final measure to 3/4 Actual, for example; or the first measure to 1/4)
I'm on OS X Mavericks. MU version 1.3

Doesn't crash for me. And I'd have be really surprised if it did, as I'm doing this a lot and never ever had a crash related to it.
MuseScore 1.3 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit. So it may be a Mac OS specific Problem?

I, too, am experiencing crashes when attempting to change the actual measure duration. I installed Musescore when I was running OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, and I used the actual measure duration feature frequently with no issues. After upgrading to OS X 10.9 Mavericks, however, running Musescore 1.3, the application crashes almost whenever I attempt to change the actual measure duration. It crashes whether I have already entered notes in the measure or not. It did manage to work once, but I can't remember what, if anything, was different about that situation.
Another problem with Mavericks:
If I rename an instrument: Flute to Flute I-II, it works. If I rename Horn to Horn I-II, it crashes.
Very strange! :-)
In addition to crashing every time I tried to change the duration of a measure, when I tried transposing a part down a minor third, it crashed as well. Seems like there are some major compatibility issues with Musescore and Mavericks. This is such a great program, it's gonna be really sad if I can't use it on my new computer.

Same problem here.
Score is 2/4 with pickup and has mid-bar repeat back to beginning. Trying to edit mid-bar measure "actual" properties to anything other than same as "nominal" results in complete crash.

Wyou could try using version 1.2, this seem to work better with mavericks.
