How can I make a plugin for tabs?
Is it possible to make my own fingering tabs?
I have an instrument that's quite obscure, but do have a system for it (on paper only - I'm not a programmer).
Here's a link to a (quite incomplete) wiki about the Harmonetta:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonetta
There's a drawing in the lower right corner of the lay out.
I can provide more info if someone's interested in helping out.

There are quite a few fingering plungins in the repository, grab, study and adjust to your needs...

Thanks for your reply. Looking at some of those files, I realise this is way over my head technically. The more because what I have in mind is tab for chord-fingering, not just single notes, and that would require making specific symbols and not just numbers. If ever another harmonetta player shows up here (chances are slim), perhaps we could work it out together; I do have the symbols worked out on paper.

In the unlikely even of an harmonetta player passing by, it would be great if you could attach these symbols to a comment. Most of the tablature plugins are based on a font, each character in the font being a fingering. If you can build/find a font with your symbols, you are getting closer from your goal.

as soon as I'll get a scanner in sight I'll digitise and upload it - might be a few days.
attached a PDF with TABS.
If ever someone would work with these to implement in mscore - I can provide more info on chords missing here, like dom7#11 and such.

Ok. First steps would be to create or find a font with all these weird symbols.

I searched the web quite a bit but couldn't find these symbols; making them myself is not evident since I know nothing about programs for making graphics.
