tying two different notes
Hi,
I am having trouble tying two different notes together, but I'm having trouble doing that. I have no idea what to do. I've tried using the "tying" button but it ties the previous note with the same one. For example, I have a D and I want to tie it with an E, and when I press the "tie" button, another D note appears and is tied with the previous D note. Please help!

What do you want to do, it's not a tie but a slur:

I had the same problem as them but what you said helped me. First you have shift click the first not and the click the second. When they are selected, go to the top and click on "add} lines} slur" and it will work for two different notes. Thank you
