Permission to perform an arrangement of Pure Imagination
I have just finished writing an arrangement of "Pure Imagination" for two clarinets and piano in honor of my clarinet teacher, who is currently the conductor of a community production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The problem is, I don't know who I need to get permission from to perform it. I have a songbook of the London production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Musical that includes said song, and the copyright is as follows:
Copyright © 1970, 1971 by Taradam Music, Inc.

International Copyright Secured All Rights Reserved
I've been looking at copyright law for arranging a piece for live performance, but it mentions nothing about International Copyright. If anyone who has experience with this kind of stuff can help me out, I would be very grateful

Is this an adaptation to be used in that community production? If so, I think it should be covered in the rights your clarinet teacher obtained when he got the license to perform the work (disclaimer: not a lawyer).

Here's the problem: I've been looking all over the internet and I can't seem to find any sort of email address. I can only find a mailing address. I'd like to contact them by email since it would be easier to stay in touch with them. But I feel like sending them a letter is my only option.

and .....? :)
If I may, I would suggest sooner rather than later.
