Solo line showed up... how to remove in some movements
I am engraving a three movement piece which has 4 voice parts plus piano. The last movement has a vocal solo, the other 2 do not. It has been months since I looked at this or worked on it.
I noticed that the last .pdf proof I sent him does not have a solo line on any but the last movements.
How do I hide that on the first two?
Thanks for your help!

Thank you. That did it.

Now that I am further along in the score, there are a few sections where two voices are in tacet, and the other two are singing. The voices that are silent are that way for 6 measures at the top of a page, and thus do no show. I need them to not be hidden. Can I selectively un-hide them?

If you want a staff to appear even though it its empty you need to put something into the staff (i.e. any note[s] you want in at least one measure per page) in a second voice (to keep your full measure rests in voice 1) and set it to invisible. If you care about playback you also have to set those notes to silent.
