Reverberation Confusion

1st question: Is the difference between the reverberation settings on the mixer and the synthesizer that the mixer settings "stick" to the score when saved and uploaded, but synthesizer settings are strictly local and universal for your own computer playback?
2nd question: When searching sheet music to see if a score of the Brahms lullaby had already been uploaded, I found a piano score (http://musescore.com/nicolas/scores/21872) that has the reverberation of a concert/recital hall. I downloaded it to see what all the settings were, and I didn't see anything different from what I've tried. Anybody see how the fantastic reverberation on this score was achieved? Reverberation settings on the mixer (even to the max) don't produce this effect for me.
