selecting multi-measure rests
Does anyone know how to make multi-measure rests for only a selection of measures? If i press m, then every empty measure thats connected will turn into a multi measure rest and thats not exactly what I want.

Multimeasure rests should break automatically at all the standard places - double bars, rehearsal marks, tempo changes, etc. If you need them to also break in some other places, you can right click the measutre where you want the break to occur and select Measure Properties, then select the option to break multimeasure rests. Or go to Style / General and up the minimum number of measures for them to appear if that does what you want.
