Convert file into PDF
Hi there,
I have a little problem using the software and I hope you can help me! I created a sheet and wanted to transform it to PDF in order to send it to other people, but when I convert it, the notes disappear and everything is full of the letter e.
Is there any chance to adjust that`?
Thanx in advance for your recomendations!
Cheers
oihana

I guess you used a PDF printer, right? You can save as PDF instead, that should work, atleast it does for me, and since some 4 years...
you could also use the batch export plugin.

Thank you very much for that hint. It worked out as you said :-) Anyway there are still some signs that don´t belong there...and I don´t really know how to delete single note or break signs....any further recomendations?

delete is simple: just select (single-click) and hit Del.
What "signs that don't belong there" do you see? Can you share the score and the PDF?

I tried to use the delete-button, but nothing happened. How do I share the score?

See the 'File Attachments' link at the bottom of a reply/edit

there it is, the score is at home I cannot send it now. Look at the end of the sheet :-)

I see some 'stray' rests in measure 15 and 18, select them (click) and hit Ctrl-R to restore them to where thy belong (they are missing in other measures, 12 and 15), also there's some stray text "o -", above measure 16, no idea where that belongs.
You may want to add some more system breaks on page two, so the chord symbols get more space.

First of all thank you so mucho for your help so far.
There are some last things I want to change.
Do you know how to achieve that every line has just two bars and therefore the score looks more symmetric?
Is it possible to delete the numbers that appear at the beginning where the clef is?
And is it possible to distribute the parts and put A and B at the beginning?
And there is still one inconvenient...I cannot delete the two bars at the end.
Thank you in advance.

What version of MuseScore? What operating system?
Best practice would be to attach the (good) MuseScore .mscz file along with the (bad) .pdf file.
Also, if your score looks good in MuseScore, are you choosing (from within MuseScore) the menu item: File / Save As, and then selecting 'PDF File' in the 'Save as type' drop down box?
Welcome aboard.

These should be separate threads as they have nothing to do with the original question. Ask them again in the proper forum is my suggestion. That way they may be of use to someone else. Here, they are burried in another issue.
what is the break every x measure plugin and where do I find it?
with reference to 3.
the jazzy chats often have big capital letters at the beginning of every new passage of a song. usually there are small quadrats with the letters inside.
In reply to break plugin by oihana5
It is part of MuseScore. See http://musescore.org/en/handbook/plugins#Break-Every-X-Measures
Those big capitals with a square box around are rehearsal marks (and MuseScore supports them, click on note/rest, Ctrl-M)
Thank you very much for your patient explainations :-) it all worked out well!
