Tremolo drum notes too loud?
1. Open Score 1.
2. 'Play'.
Discussion: Is it just me, or do tremolo drum notes sound too loud (horrible buzz) in comparison to the other notes?
It doesn't seem the case when playing Score 2 (produced in 1.3).
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (bfbeb07) with fluid.sf3 soundfont - Mac 10.7.5.

I don't hear anything unusual. Of course, the note is so short it's hard to tell. I tried lengthening it to a quarter, listened with headphones, and it sounds perfectly normal. This is with FluidR3_GM2-2.sf3 that is included with the build. Are you using that, or do you really have a file called simply fluid.sf3?

Hi Marc
It actually happens with both FluidR3 in sf2 and sf3 forms (yes, I have a file called fluid.sf3).

Where'd you get it from? That's the first thing I'd suspect - you've got a bum soundfont. Try it using the actual shipped version of the soundfont (should have a modified date of 12/3/2013).
I tried it with both the shipped FluidR3_GM-2.sf3 as well as "GeneralUser GS MuseScore v1.442.sf2" that I believe I got via the link in the online Handbook, and both sound fine.
You might also try uploading an mp3 somewhere so I know what I'm supposed to be listening for/. If this is something extremely subtle, like the high harmonic that apparently people with better high frequency hearing than I could hear in some notes in the guitar sample, I might be missing it.
