My Glissando isn't listening
While writing a piece, I wanted to have a glissando down the marimba, however, no matter what I did, it wouldn't insert anything. I looked at the hand book and was bale in insert arpeggios and other things, but it won't insert glissandi.

To enter Arpeggio & Glissando symbols into a score see:

You can't create a one-sided glissando in MuseScore. Enter the note you want it to end on, then add the gliss between them.
Yes, I seem to be having the same issue with harp. I've tried it on piano as well and it's the same problem. I don't have a one sided glissando, there are two notes and it just wont add to the score. I've tried double clicking and also dragging and dropping. I've tried selecting just the first note and selecting both notes. If I drag and drop, the little plus sign appears but it still doesn't add.

You may have to zoom in to see it properly.

Please attach a recent score showing the issue you encounter nowadays.

Neither double click nor drag and drop are recommended. The correct way to add palette elements now that it’s 2024 is a single click. Select the first of the two adjacent notes, click arpeggio. If the two notes are not adjacent - like they are in different staves of if there a rest between them - Ctrl+click to select them both.
