mscore-3.0 is unable to use german keyboards on Linux/wayland
I'm working with the mscore-devel-version 3.0 (MuseScoreNightly-201709071127-master-3319f3a-x86_64.AppImage) under LINUX Fedora-26. My Keyboard is a german keyboard, running correctly with all my installed applications, but not with mscore-3.0, for example if entering staff text: y and z are inverted, aso.
No such problem with mscore-2.0.
See problem report https://musescore.org/en/comment/781526#comment-781526.

Seems Linux (or AppImage?) specific, it works as it should on Windows 7 and 10
Seems to be a wayland problem: running my session without wayland (echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE results with "x11") will run with the correct keyboard type, but if the ENV variable $XDG_SESSION_TYPE has the value "wayland" (running a wayland session), then z and y are inverted.
So my workaround: if running mscore-3.0, do this in a X11 session.
The 3.0 appimage ships Qt 5.9. There might be a problem between wayland and Qt 5.9 ?
Joachim could you please check the case again with the latest nightly build? (http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore-nightlies/linux/x86_64/)
Sorry I'm not on Linux.
Oh, you meant Joachim Backes, not me... (see I listen to my nick and my real name ;-)
no problems with Fedora 28 (Workstation Edition), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.0, revision: 097d606.
Joachim Backes (the right one :))
