Don't know if it's a bug...

1) Open the attached score
2) Export a MIDI file

With a MIDI sequencer you can see that the G note of the first staff (belonging to voices 1 and 2) is exported as a single MIDI event.
Is it normal?

Yes, this is intentional. Overlapping notes cannot be produced when playing a "real" instrument and some synthesizer cannot handle them gracefully.

The "2 voices" you refer to are actually played by the same instrument - if you want 2 different sounds, they should each have their own staff.

For example, try playing 2 voices as you describe them on a piano ;-)

Your answer makes me happy but...
If you try to cross-staff a note from the second staff to the first so that you have two notes overlaying... They are exported as two different events...

Compared to the philosophy that you explained me it seems a bug.

I would say: if you want 2 different sounds, they should each have their own instrument. No?
