Sluring
I put in a slur (click s, SHIFT right arrow-key, esc.) but it didn't slur. It kept playing staccato! If there is any way to fix this, please tell. Thanks!

It will only play staccato is you put in a an actual staccato symbol. The normal mode of playback is note staccato but legato. So I assume that is what you mean. MuseScore is primarily a notation program; not all symbols have an effect on playback. Slurs are among the symbols that don't affect playback. So if you have, for example, parts for instruments, they will sound legato but tongued rather than slurred even if you put a slur symbol there. Slur playback is a commonly requested feature that hopefully will find its way in some day.
