Ties
I'm trying to get a sixteenth note tied to a quarter, and it's just not working. I've been able to tie many other notes together, but can't seem to for this. Thanks for all the support!

Now, I have tried all possible combinations and it works.
I want to know how you cannot do it.
Are you trying to tie the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 16th of the last beat on the measure?
WAG #1:
You have a situation similar to Ziya's picture (tie crosses bar line) and you have and accidental earlier in the first of the measures so the notes look the same, but one actually has a sharp or flat while the other does not.
