Brackets in piano score
I've come across some brackets that span both staves in my Open Score transcription of Kosenko's 11 Etudes that I can't quite figure out how to replicate in Musescore. You can see what I'm talking about on the first and second lines of the second page of the PDF. I've approximated them with symbols that I found in the master palette, but I don't know if they're the correct ones. I can't seem to find any symbol that replicates them exactly.

You might be using an arpeggio bracket, disable its playback and extend to the other staff. It'd be left of the notes though
FWIW, this is a very common marking in (at least a certain sort of) piano music. As a general usability issue, it is very hard to know where to start looking for this kind of thing. Searching the Handbook for "bracket" produces the list of "brackets" which go on the left end of a staff, but nothing else obvious.
If you want to add something then @Jojo's answer is the best thing you can do right now, but for OpenScore I would say you don't need to add anything here. This is an example of something that MuseScore simply can't do right now, so it's best we leave it out for now and wait for a proper solution to be implemented in MuseScore.
P.S. I notice there are left-facing brackets in the Symbols pallet (press "Z" to bring it up) under the Bravura font, but they are of a fixed size and so are unsuitable for this use.
