How to make text hidden/invisible in XML?
When I make an entire page of music invisible ("v") and export to XML, every note's code starts with object="no">, which is normal to make the note hidden, but there is no code for hiding the text. When I import the file back into MuseScore or another program, the notes will all be invisible, but the text is visible, including tempos and dynamics. Is it possible to hide text in XML?
The reason is I'd like to be able to hide tempo changes to get proper playback. For example, the tempo might be going at q=138, but at a 4-beat ritardando I'll type in q=120 on beat 1 and q=105 on beat 3 to get the playback I want. This is important when uploading XML to SmartMusic so students aren't practicing and learning to play the music without the tempo changes. But it looks terrible and cluttered if I can't hide the tempo text.

Any idea what an invisible tempo text should look like in MusicXML ?
print-object doesn't seem to be defined for direction element https://usermanuals.musicxml.com/MusicXML/Content/AT-MusicXML-print-obj…

I am not aware this is covered by the spec. Might be worked around by using a direction with children direction-type / words plus a sound element, where the words would be blank.
