Please can you help me get Jack and Musescore to work together?
Hello!
I've followed the guide I found on youtube (which I believe was created by a member of this forum), but I am not having any success.
Is there some incompatibility with my setup, maybe?
Windows 10 64bit
Jack 1.9.11 64bit
Musescore 2.1.0 (I think this is 32 bit, because it is installed under Program Files (x86) and I could not find a specific 64bit version to download)
Anyway, after going through the guide, there are no additional midi connections in Jack's connection list.
Can anyone provide some guidance, because I am lost.

I hadn't seen that, but it appears to be for Linux. I'm on Windows 10 at the moment.

Yes, I've seen that one. In fact, that's where I found the tutorial video :)
But no muscore midi output.
I'm totally at a loss. Clueless :(

Thanks, but I failed again. I tried to follow those instructions and I get the same result. I fear it is time to give up. :-(
Depending on why you want this. You might just want to go for a 2.2 nightly build.
They are quite stable, and have direct MIDI out built-in (see https://musescore.org/en/node/208986 )

I had issues getting the writable clients/input ports to show up in the midi tab but got it working when I set the sound card to default. Why is this the case?
