We need to know about your computer. What's the operating system? Which version of MuseScore?

It is windows 10 (1703 version) and muse score 2.1

First be sure you haven't accidentally turned off your speakers. Then go to View / Synthesizer and make sure you see a soundfont listed. If not, that would explain it - something you did might have removed the sounfont, and you need to set it up again. Probably easiest to use Help / Revert to Factory Settings. Actually, do that even if you do see a soundfont listed. If that doesn't fix it, then go to Edit / Preferences / I/O and let us know what you see.

Thank you so much!!!! I had the same problem and I was getting so frustrated, to the point of almost burning the
computer BUT YOU SAVED ME!!! Thanks so much:)
