How to view timeline
I can't seem to access the timeline. The handbook tells me what is on the timeline and how to interact with it, but not how to bring it up. I thought it would be under the "View" menu, but I don't see it there. I have not been able to find a menu item or icon for it anywhere. I am using MuseScore version 2.1.0, revision 871c8ce.

The timeline is being worked on for version 3.0. I guess the handbook needs to indicate this.

Actually, the handbook DOES indicate this: I just saw that right before I saw your answer. I had missed that paragraph earlier because when I searched for the answer to how to bring up the timeline, the search result started with the following paragraph.
The timeline will be a really useful feature; I am looking forward to 3.0!

I added the paragraph after I answered you. The handbook is a community effort so I made it no longer confusing.
