Option to add instrument part numbers to staff

Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I would like the option for the instrument part number (ie. 1 & 2, 3) to be able to be added to the beginning of each system. I know this can easily be done just by changing the name of the instrument to have the numbers but this way seems a lot more organized. I linked an example below.
