Bar Stave Error
Hi,
Been suffering from the bug where you try to open a previously working piece of music and you get the error message,"Bar Stave Incorrect" ect ect.
I have discovered at least bug that may be causing this.
Lets say I have a Classical Guitar piece of music that is say 3/4 however using Bar Properties I change the first bar to an Actual of 1.
Everything works fine. Until one day I decide to change the instrument to an Classical Guitar. I control A to select the music then Control C to copy it. I then go to Edit and select Instrument, I Add an Classical Guitar and Remove the Acoustic one. When I return the 3/4 has change to 1/4, but I don't notice this. I Control V to Paste my music into the new instrument, it plays fine. I save. But the next time I open the file it errors.
This only seems to happen when the first bar has had its Actual changed and has one note . Otherwise this procedure I used to change instruments works fine. Even when the Actual bar has two notes.
So I would guess this is what is happening when people get the "Bar Stave Error.
A simple workaround is of you have changed the Actual of the first bar, is to Add a new instrument, don't remove the previous one, save, Paste onto the new instrument, then go back to edit a second time and remove the old instrument.
Cheers

Issue filled: #271526: Copy-paste a score with pickup measure in another, after immediate removal of the first one in "Instruments dialog", leads to corruption
An easier way to change instruments:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/staff-properties#change-instrument
No copy/paste is involved, no deleting of the old instrument staff is necessary. No error, so no workaround is needed.
Regards.
