Notes Being Muted with Falls
For trumpets, whenever I choose a note to put a fall on, it mutes the note entirely

I have the same problem, not just with trumpet, it mutes the notes in all 4 horn parts when I put a fall on a note in a certain spot. However, if I put the same notes 1/8th note later, they sound with the fall. It's like there's something corrupted on that one 1/8th note of the bar.
