Bug in figured bass entry

In Musecore 2.2 it's impossible to add figured bass signa to a voice that starts with a rest. Open a new score, select the first rest and press C-G. Error message: "No note or figured bass selected". Changing the rest to some note, then entering the figured bass, then deleting that note does work as a (clumsy) workarround. Also, entering 'figured bass' mode on an existing note and then shift-tab-ing backward to the rest works.
