Saving
I pressed save on the work that took me 3 hours to make and it didn't save. If I didn't press save then it would've said would you like to save it when I tried to close the app.

When closing MuseScore with yet unsaved changes to a score, it does prompt you to save.
When you do save, it does save, or gives an error message.
Also MuseScore does autosave score every x minutes (you can set this to your likings, default is 2), but to a somewhat hidden directory with cryptic names.

When you say ?it didn't save", did it put up an error message? Or are you just having trouble figuring out what folder it saved to? I'm guessing the latter. What OS are you on, and what version of MuseScore? And can you give more information on the score - like was it one you just started that day, or one you had created earlier then opened today? If the latter, how did you open it? And so forth. If you pressed save and didn't get an error message, it definitely saved, just a question of you giving us the necessary information for us to help you figure out where it saved.
