Zerberus and high-sample rate WAVs
Just thought I'd share an issue I found when trying to get a .SFZ to work in Zerberus.
I used a .SFZ file which someone else had created, and it was silent in Musescore.
I could get other .SFZs to play just fine but not this one.
It turned out that the .WAV files used by this .SFZ had higher sample rates than the 16-bit, 44.1kHz used for .WAVs historically.
I used Audacity to import and then export the .WAVs (which set them to 16 bit, 44.1kHz) , and on replacing the .WAVs, the soundfont now plays!
I guess it's a possible feature request but mainly I'm sharing in case someone else runs across the same issue.

What was the sample rate and bit depth of the WAV files ?

Hi lasconic,
Thanks for your reply.
I realise now that I may have made a mistake in my subject when I said the WAVs had a high sample rate.
I'm not totally sure how to check it, but VLC Media player seems to suggest that the sample rate is 44.1 kHz, which I guess is normal.
However VLC also says that it is 32 bits per sample, so I assume this is the bit depth, and I assume this is why they seem abnormal to the player?
Thanks,
David

Could you send a link to one of the sample, or even the whole SFZ ?

Thanks for the reply.
The SFZ comes from here:

As I understand it, it was a set of samples which existed previously, and have been put into a Soundfont.
