Text Overlapping
I'm writing a jazz composition and I would like to know if there is a way to easily separate different text elements in parts. I have 21 parts and a full score for my composition and it gets tedious to go into each part and move text elements. Not to mention I have a large score, which makes editing even slower, as my composition has 339 measures in total.
For example:
I have these three text elements, one being a tempo marking, one a system text, and one a staff text for an instrument change, but when I go into the Electric Piano part, this is what shows up:
I've tried editing it in a separate file and copying it in, but it doesn't seem to affect it. I'm trying to make sure each part is legible to the performer, and this is taking longer than I would like it to. Please Help!

No other way than going through each part and fix those layout issues one by one

Okay thanks!

Oh I just found a way. I made a new text style for swing and then set all the text elements that had swing to that text style. Then I just changed some settings and reset the layout of all the text.
Indeed, tweaking text styles to avoid the most common collisions is a good hack. For MuseScore 3, there will be some automatically collision avoidance, but to be honest, I don't really trust this, as I have little confidence that the way a program resolves collisions will be to my liking.

Yeah. The way I have it set up is that Tempo is on top, then System Text, and any Staff Text is on the bottom closest to the staff. That's my personal preference for the order of text, but I don't know how MuseScore is going to handle text collision. Unless possibly it automatically detects numbers and puts it in a certain place, and then prioritizes System Text over Staff Text. That would be my suggestion, and I don't think that would be difficult to implement it that way.

Because numbers mostly have to deal with tempo
