Crash when you press the S key on the last selected note
Nightly, July 6 (« 87ace48 »), but active since the « 3816d17 » (July 5) / Windows 7
Parenthetically, I can't open the last « c63936e » despite the procedure « -F »
So :
1. Create a new score, no matter the instrument
2. Enter a single note
3. Press S key (slur)
Result : Crash
On my example, it's ok when you add slurs afterwards, but for the last C selected, the crash arrives if you press the S key
- Related or not ? (but date of onset is identical): the slurs on the default score « Promenade » are bad placed (too below)

This bug is fixed, thanks. But I reopen the issue because I just noticed two annoying side effects, especially the second.
1) When you want to repeat a measure including slurs (with select measure + R key), the action is correctly repeated only once. The slurs disappear in the following measures (third, fourth etc.) See this file: Slurs Repeat R key - July 9-44c17d9.mscz
In the Nightly (e9e0e34, July 3), for example, the Repeat function worked well in maintaining slurs in all following measures.
2) In N entry mode, there is a very useful feature in Sibelius for the slurs: you enter a note, press S key, enter the second note, and you get a technical slur, while remaining in the same mode.
Now, from yesterday (Nightly 44c17d9), the input of the second note deletes the slur (:
- Note that in the same Nigthly of July 3, this function (like Sibelius) was possible, but with a more difficult behavior.
Some slurs could be easily obtained with a single short press on the S key, and other required a long press. Moreover, the difference is seen (the line is thicker or irregular).
See the following file: slurs Mode N - July3-e9e0e34.mscz
Thanks :)
It appears the issue with the "S" key in ntoe entry mode (entering notes deletes the pending slur) is fixed.
The issue with the "R" key not preserving slurs after the first operation still exists. However, it seems to me this is very unrelated. Perhaps a new issue should be opened, and this one closed?
You are right,
The issue with the S key was fixed here: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/commit/7108d9f070e1784739cb215aa…
For the R key (slurs not preserved), I was expecting a little with the latest changes on slurs. But it exist still, it's true.
So, I agree, we may well close this issue, and I open a specific post for slurs soon.
I think the issue with "R" is more likely related to recent changes to copy/paste than in recent changes to slurs.
