PDF to MIDI
I am trying to convert a scanned copy of Hummel's piano concerto to a format such as MIDI so I can learn it. The score can be found here: https://imslp.org/wiki/Special:ImagefromIndex/30348/nhafj
Looks like the quality is not good enough for the OMR software. Is there any other software that could do this? Or is there any other fixes I can do the pdf to get it to convert?
Thanks in advance.

There are commercial OMR software packages which will tackle this task to some extent e.g. SharpEye, PhotoScore, SmartScore. I ran the PDF through one of these systems, and it took 15 minutes to complete the recognition. The results are frankly disappointing, as you will see from the attached MuseScore import of the resulting MusicXML file.
Also attached is a Zip archive containing:
a) the MusicXML file (as it was imported)
b) the error reports from MuseScore during the MusicXML import attempts
