Time Signatures

select the time signature by clicking on it, then delete it (press delete on keyboard)

Deleting the time signature works, sort of - it leaves the score in a state that is locked to 4/4. A better way to achieve the desired result in many cases is to use Staff Properties (right click within a staff to display) to disable time signatures. You can also disable barlines and other elements that way.
