Carets above numbers (scale degrees)
I'm writing something for my music fundamentals class. I'm trying to look for the scale degrees that have these ^ above a number but i cannot find one. I've went through the special characters and found nothing. Can anyone help please?

If you open the Symbols palette (shortcut is Z) and type the word "pedal" into the search box, you will see two "carets" which you may find useful:

I guess you mean you want to write numbers with the carat above, perhaps as lyrics under the notes? Indeed not a part of standard / common fonts as far as I know. There are "combining diacritic" marks, that can be used to compose these characters, but it doesn't seem to work so well with the fonts I tried.
Ideally, I'd like to see a font developed that includes these, also Roman numeral analysis characters. I keep meaning to bug the SMuFL folks to see if they would consider standardizing this and adding it to Bravura. Added to my todo list...
