Tempo can't be changed when using Jack audio and carla patchbay

Ok so I use musescore with some different instruments from kontakt player and the way I set it up is I open my Jack server first then I open up the carla patchbay which holds the kontakt 5 instruments and then finally I load up musescore and go back and connect all the instruments in the patchbay of carla and everything works I get sound. But I cannot change the tempo from 120 ever and it defaults to every score I have tried activating Jack transport and it lets me change the tempo inside of carla but can't do live changes inside musescore which is pretty annoying. At this point i'm not sure what to do. I'm also on mac if that helps.

This seemingly has nothing to do with the TempoChanges plugin at all.
If you have issues with getting a correct tempo through your setup, please post in the support forum of MuseScore, where someone might be able to help you out further.
