List of open scores
I don't know of any other 'Multiple document' (as it was called in the MFC days) app that doesn't offer a list of the documents it has open. Finding an open document in MS (2 or 3) is extremely tedious, trying to cycle sideways through the tabs, an error-prone and frustrating operation that loses your place and often has side-effects from clicking errors. This is especially frustrating when you attempt to open a score from the Finder/Explorer or command line ("open" on Mac) and the app seemingly does nothing, because the file is already open, but you have to play hide-and-seek to find it. This is ridiculous -- it should have an "open scores" dialog in keeping with the expectable behavior of multi-document applications for the last 30 years.

This has been discussed before and I agree there needs to be a better way to find the open document you want.

What's the problem with a command that puts up a dialog with the open files in right/late-most-down order? Is there any controversy? I looked for a discussion or issue and couldn't find one.

The search function for the forums is so bad, I try to avoid using it. I tried Google and found #153011: Provide a drop down list of open tabs (with selection).
