Should be an easy fix
Sure there is not enough space for 3 digits? It seems there isn't even enough for 2 (just 1 1/2), until you come to line 100, when 2 digits show (but indeed not the 3rd. That in turn shows as soon as the lined numbers (should) go 4 digits.
Came up again in #288923: Plugin Creator line number gutter width doesn't auto-increase enough
