Resizing Chord Symbols.....?
I've attached an extract of the song My Funny Valentine. In the second measure the chord symbol - Cm(maj7) - spans the entire measure. Too big for my likes. How would you handle this?
1) Use a smaller font for Chord symbols (if this can even be done)
2) Make the measures wider (not sure how to do this or if it can be done)
3) Something else.
Thanks,
fingers.

Change the text style for those?
1 click it, open Inspector (F8) set font size
2 click the measure->Format->Stretch>increase
3) instead of using the old-fashion "m" and "maj" abbreviations, try some of the more modern ones like "mi" and "ma", or leave the "m" as is but use "M" or a triangle (shortcut: "t") for the "maj).
4) leave it as is - not sure what you don't like about it, but this looks exactly how most sheet music would be published (well, except for "jazz" fakebooks that would be using much larger chord symbols and a handwritten style - see Format / Style / Chord Symbols and select "Jazz" style.
