I opened a new song without saving the previous one i was working on. Am I doomed?

Ok, so as the title states, I was working on a song, and I wanted to hear one of my others for inspiration. I went under File->Open then opened up my old song. I noticed that my unsaved new one did not save, so am I screwed? Or is there some way to get my song back.
