8vb becomes 8va after automatic formation
The playback wasn't actually changed but the stem direction was, which caused some minor confusion. Just thought you should know about it.

Can you post a score and explain. Or is it related to #279962: Ottava 8vb displays as 8va on save/reload. This was fixed in 3.0.1 which was released today.

Ah yes, that's the same problem, except mine were kept in place, simply pointing the wrong direction. This happened after I imported a MuseScore 2 file into the 3.0.1 release, e.g today.

did you select yes to allow version 3 to reset version 2 edits when you first opened it? Doing this should make everything look right.

I selected yes, hence why I thought something might be wrong with the formation.
