I have made a verse invisible for later use, but the hyphens and melisma lines remain (e.g. see unclicked "Show invisible" in "view" tab; also PDF export).

so #103916: when lyrics syllables are made invisible the hyphen that connects them should be made invisible too is back?
[edited]
Clarification: the hyphens are greyed out normally, but indeed they remain if you uncheck "Show invisible".
So:
1) enter hyphenated lyrics
2) mark them invisible
3) disable Show invisible
Result: the greyed-out hyphens remain visible. Ditto for melisma lines
Correct. The hyphen et. al. come through in PDF export as well (showing that the disabled "Show Invisible" is functioning properly; what you see is what prints).
