Placement of dynamic markings

In MuseScore 2, one was able to drag the dynamic marking to the top of the stave - where it is best placed for any form of vocal music (otherwise the dynamic marking interferes with the text). Vocal and choral scores, as a standard, place the dynamic markings above the stave for this reason.

However, MuseScore 3, will not allow dynamic marking placement above the stave. It just flips back to below the stave.

Is there a way of working around this, so that the dynamic markings can be placed above the stave?
