MuseScore 3 Tablature Position
I have many songs I play along with using MuseScore 2. I recently updated to MuseScore 3 and the Tablature position has moved. If I try to move the Tablature closer to the lyrics it just moves back to the original position. It worked in MuseScore 2. What am I doing wrong?

Select, open Inspector deselect automatic placement?

Thank You
It isn't clear how this tablature was created - some sort of plugin? - or what it is attached to. It shouldn't be necessary to move it at all, or to disable automatic placement. If you attach your actual score, we can investigate and understand better what is actually going on.

I have this song originally in MuseScore 2. Using the Harmonica Tablature plugin (In MuseScore 2) I added the harmonica tabs. It placed the tabs just under the Lyrics. Then I updated to MuseScore 3. Then when I open the song in MuseScore 3 it puts the tablature a lot lower than the lyrics. If I try to move the tablature it just snaps back to the lower position.
By turning the disable automatic placement off, that is allowing me to move the tablature back to just below the lyrics. The only bad thing is, looks like I'll have to do this to every song I have.

Can you attach a short sample song so I, or someone, can look at it and see if there is an easier way to do this?

When I added the harmonica tablature in MuseScore 2, the tabs was put just a little under the lyrics. When I opened it in MuseScore 3 the tabs were put very low under the lyrics (see attachment)
PS: any idea when a new plugin version of Harmonica Tablature will be available for MuseScore 3?

The plugin needs to be adapted to version 3.x. If you open the plugin in the Plugins creator, you may be able to change Import MuseScore 1.0 to Import Musescore 3.0 then save it. This may be all that's necessary to run it in version 3.
As for the staff text used for the harmonica tabs, I don't see an easy way to change all of them at once. The problem is that the plugin uses staff text and changing harmonica tab will adjust ALL staff text.

Thanks, I tried the Plugin Creator. I get " module "MuseScore" version 1.0 is not installed" message.
For now I'll just keep using MuseScore 2, the plugin works perfect in it.

Ok, I downloaded the Harmonica Tablature for museScore 3.
It is in my C:Program Files/MuscScore 3/plugins/harmonica_tablature-master.
There are two files in it harmonica_tablature.qml and ReadMe.
When I open MuseScore 3 and go to plugins, it see Harmonica Tablature. But when I add a couple randon notes and try to put the tabs on - nothing. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
