Funny its opposite of this #281362: Symbols can no longer swap their places in the palettes
On masOS, Items in their palettes can rearrangeable not only custom palette but also in default palettes “Basic” and “Advanced” with holding Shift.
Green Plus button isn’t appearing though like 2.x
“Basic” and “Advanced” Palettes should not be rearrangeable as like 2.x

This title is misleading, it contradicts this issue, always active: #281362: Symbols can no longer swap their places in the palettes
If it only works on Mac (?), then it must be written explicitly in the title.
And I don't understand everything. If it works (on Mac), why introduce an issue? If it works on Mac with Shift, then it is a workaround of the "general" issue, but only for Mac. Did I miss something?
Hi Cadiz
On, its true the title is misleading, should have written explicitly.
And indeed, it’s a workaround of the "general" issue (only for Mac).
I’ll write comment in the thread.
Seems to be not relevant to the new palettes implementation, default palettes are now supposed to be editable (with a possibility to restore the initial state).
