Grouping multiple bars of rests

Ok folks, I figured out how to delete the measures. Now I'm trying to do something I have done before which I forgot the procedure how to. I only use MuseScore occasionally. I'm trying bundle a number of bars of rests into one measure with the number indicated. How do I execute this?
