Old MuseScore won't read New musescore score
I am currently using Musescore 2 on Gentoo linux. Because Gentoo hasn't bothered to update Musescore to the latest, I am forced to use Musescore 2.
I used to run Debian Linux, and at that time I had the latest Musescore. Everything ran smooth then, but now that I try to run a score that was made with the latest Musescore, my version doesn't know what to do with it.
Below, I have attached three files. Two of which are the errors I get when trying to load the score, and one is the score itself. The score attached is not an image, so you should be able to open it with Musescore.
If someone could help me out, that would be great!

You could use the MuseScore 3 AppImage, which runs on every Linux

At this point I don want to update, is it possible that friends who work with 3.0 send me a kopie of their music in mscz format so I can work on it to?

If someone working with MuseScore 3 sends you a score, you won't be able to open in in your MuseScore 2
I "translated" for you.
You could read any of the files I attached with MuseScore 2.x.
